During the course of creating the interactive art, our group faced many problems.

The first problem that our group faced was the lack of knowledge in java coding and usage of Flash Catalyst. This thus resulted in us having to eliminate most of our desired interactivity and stick to a simple fading in and out effect.

Not only that, restrictions in Flash Catalyst such as file size limits caused us to have problems in creating too complicated interactivity. Hence, we have to create separate files for our overall interactivity and the interactivity on individual collages.

Another problem we faced was the problems with our collages. The main problem that we faced was our diversified styles. Hence, our photomontages were very different in style and some turned out to be too realistic while others turned out too flat.

Hence, this problem was solved by using one member's art as reference and the rest try to modify to look like it. We also sent our collages to one another so that we can edit each other's montage. Also, we tried to make our montage the same size to minimise problems that will arise during resizing in Flash Catalyst.

I feel that this project exposed me to many different types of challenges and tested my editing abilities through the usage of Photoshop. I also learnt how to use Flash Catalyst to create interactive images. In conclusion, although all of us are very diversified in our abilities and styles, we managed to compromised and learn many things from one another.
